Our customer is a multinational corporation with more than a century of history and offices in over 180 countries. Their most ambitious goal at the time is to introduce a range of Reduced-Risk Products (RRPs), offering smokers a healthier alternative to traditional cigarettes. The target audience is more than 1 billion of consumers around the globe.

Intellias mission is to help a client with the engineering of a comprehensive software ecosystem for a game-changing IoT product on the margin of innovative consumer experience and cutting-edge technology. Our teams are involved in the engineering of core platform components for best in class eCommerce, Digital Marketing and IoT solutions. As a SRE you will become a part of Core Architecture Team and be responsible for the implementation of best practices in our Digital Engineering Enterprice Platform.

The Platform is a set of services and internet applications that accelerate the development and delivery of software applications by taking care of common SDLC challenges. The Platform provides access and consumption for engineering teams to a set of services, technologies, practices for their development and for operating their application, ensure a set of compliance and best practices.

As a Site Reliability Engineer in IT Core Team, you will:

Manage project DevOps Tools and Cloud Infrastructure
• Provide break-fix support
• Develop and execute test cases for cloud environment
• Participate in architecture and technology review
• Design, implement and manage IT processes

What you need for this

  • Proficiency in operating systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS) and IaC (Terraform and Cloudformation).
  • At least 5 years of experience in expertise in automating routine tasks and system deployments using tools and scripting languages like Python and Bash. 
  • 3-5 years of experience with CI/CD Pipeline Development: Ability to construct and manage continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines, which connect SRE teams with operational counterparts.
  • 3-5 years experience in Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Skills in incident management, effective problem-solving techniques, and a methodical approach to diagnosing and rectifying system outages.
  • At least 3+ years of working experience in Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of web-based and service-based architectures (REST and GraphQL), and micro-services patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience in setting up Observability Systems using Cloudwatch, Elastic Stack, Grafana, New Relic, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud connectivity, including VPC peering, VPNs, and hybrid cloud setups. Experience with setting up and managing secure and efficient connectivity between cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure is a plus.
  • Desire to understand and being proficient in this domain is also a plus.
  • Ability to continuously be up to date with security and technical trends and evolve a platform based on them.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
