We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join our IT team and take ownership of the ongoing development, optimization, and support of our Business Central platform. This role plays a key part in aligning the system with evolving business needs, particularly across finance, operations, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Business Central, a solid understanding of core financial processes, and a track record of migrating financial systems to BC. You should be comfortable gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing and configuring solutions, and leading the rollout of new functionality that improves business efficiency and data integrity.

What project we have for you

Intellias is undergoing a major digital transformation of its internal systems, with the first key milestone being the successful migration to a new ERP platform based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This transition has already significantly improved our capabilities in P&L execution, talent and resource planning and allocation. The next phase of the transformation is focused on migrating and optimizing our core financial operations.

We’re seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in the latest version of Dynamics 365 Business Central who can work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

You’ll be joining a team that plays a strategic role in corporate change management, process improvement, and automation, helping to shape the future of how Intellias operates.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the solution design and functional architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in line with Microsoft best practices
  • Lead requirements elicitation and documentation in collaboration with internal business stakeholders (finance, operations, procurement, etc.)
  • Participate in the SDLC process across requirements, configuration, functional testing, and go-live phases
  • Design Business Central system configuration and functional integration requirements aligned with business needs and IT strategy
  • Plan, execute, and document functional testing to validate compliance with business requirements
  • Prepare test scenarios and test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
  • Validate delivered functionality and coordinate defect clarification and resolution with the development team
  • Prepare functional documentation and conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Define functional data structures, user roles, permission sets, and approval workflows
  • Provide functional input into the Business Central roadmap, upgrades, and internal digital transformation initiatives

What you need for this

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, including participation in full-cycle implementations
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, business operations, and reporting requirements, preferably in IT services or professional services companies
  • Experience with end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including:
    • business process analysis and fit-gap assessment
    • requirements elicitation and documentation
    • solution design and system configuration
    • coordination of customization and integrations with technical teams
    • deployment and UAT support
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and solution design documents
  • Solid experience with data migration: data mapping, transformation, and import into Business Central using configuration packages, RapidStart, or standard migration tools
  • Understanding of integration concepts in Business Central, including usage of standard APIs and coordination of external integrations (without hands-on development)
  • Experience working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams in cross-functional environments
  • Knowledge of core Business Central modules, especially Finance (GL, AP, AR), and good understanding of related operational processes
  • Understanding of role-based security, permission sets, and segregation of duties (SoD) in Business Central
  • Experience with multi-company, intercompany, and multi-currency setups
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Hands-on experience with requirements and delivery management tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English and Ukrainian, both written and spoken
