We are looking for a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead complex software engineering initiatives and support the transformation of delivery organizations from traditional outstaffing models into AI-powered Managed Delivery organizations.

This role combines deep technical understanding, people leadership, delivery excellence, and practical experience implementing AI-driven engineering practices at scale.

What project we have for you

The Senior Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for leading multi-team software delivery engagements, driving engineering excellence, and enabling organizations to adopt modern delivery practices, including AI-assisted software development workflows.

The ideal candidate combines:

  • Strong software engineering background;
  • Experience leading delivery organizations and engineering teams;
  • Hands-on understanding of modern development practices and SDLC;
  • Experience with Managed Delivery and Fixed Price engagements;
  • Ability to lead organizational change and AI adoption initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with engineering leadership, customers, and business stakeholders to ensure predictable, high-quality, and scalable delivery outcomes.

What you will do

  • Lead software delivery across multiple teams and programs
  • Drive the transformation from traditional outstaffing engagements to AI-Based Managed Delivery models
  • Establish and continuously improve delivery governance, KPIs, and operational excellence practices
  • Partner with engineering leaders to improve delivery predictability, quality, and productivity
  • Implement and scale AI practices across software engineering teams
  • Define and monitor engineering productivity metrics using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and SonarQube
  • Coach teams on modern AI-enabled engineering practices
  • Lead Managed Delivery and Fixed Price engagements, including delivery planning and execution
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and customer escalations
  • Build and develop high-performing engineering teams
  • Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support presales activities, solution shaping, estimations, and delivery model design
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful business outcomes

What you need for this

Leadership & Delivery

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and delivery management.
  • Proven experience leading distributed engineering teams and managing people, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
  • Strong experience delivering Managed Delivery, Managed Services, or Fixed Price engagements.
  • Experience participating in delivery presales, estimation, and solution planning.

Technical Background

  • Solid hands-on software development background is mandatory.
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Architect, or Engineering Manager with deep technical involvement.
  • Experience with at least one of the following technology stacks:
    • Android
    • iOS
    • C#
    • Angular

Engineering Excellence & Tooling

  • Practical experience with:
    • GitHub (repositories, pull requests, engineering workflows)
    • Azure DevOps (delivery tracking and reporting)
    • SonarQube (code quality and technical debt management)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, and engineering productivity metrics.

AI & Transformation

  • Hands-on experience implementing AI tools and practices within software delivery organizations, including GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions.
  • Experience driving engineering transformation initiatives and adopting AI-enabled software development practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Healthcare projects or working with Healthcare customers.
  • Experience implementing Engineering Excellence or AI transformation programs at scale.
