Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

• Design, build, and maintain software delivery pipelines and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that software is delivered with high quality, speed, and reliability.
• Automate manual processes, such as testing, deployment, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues in production environments.
• Leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate infrastructure-as-code development, script creation, and pipeline configuration.
• Integrating AIOps practices into monitoring and incident management workflows to enable intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, and automated root cause analysis.
• Evaluating, adopting, and championing new AI-driven tools and practices across the team to continuously improve DevOps efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans.
• Manage and scale infrastructure resources, such as servers, databases, and cloud services, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Continuously learn and keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends to improve system performance, security, and efficiency.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps
• Programming and scripting skills: expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Ruby, as well as scripting languages, such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Cloud computing: Experience with cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is highly valued.
• Configuration management: Knowledge of configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, is important for automating software deployment and infrastructure management.
• Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, is essential for creating and managing portable and scalable application environments.
• Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab, is crucial for automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitoring and logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Nagios, Prometheus, or ELK stack, is important for detecting and troubleshooting system issues.
• AI-assisted development: Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) for writing, reviewing, and debugging infrastructure code, scripts, and automation workflows.
• AIOps and intelligent monitoring: Familiarity with AI-driven operations practices, including anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and automated incident triage using tools such as Datadog AI or similar platforms.
• Collaboration and communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills are critical for working effectively with development and operations teams, as well as for managing stakeholder expectations.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking: excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex system issues.
• English level B2
