Research on private companies’ corporate policies, rules, and practices regarding equality, diversity, and prohibition of discrimination in the workplace is conducted in Ukraine every year. For the first time in 2021, we decided to take part in the study. As a result, Intellias scored 78 points out of 100 and was named among the top ten companies in the country!
It is important for us that every person feels comfortable at Intellias. This is the environment where our benchmark tech solutions are born. The company is growing fast, the context is changing, and therefore we are constantly analyzing, researching, and implementing structural changes that will make the working environment more inclusive.
Our company has a Code of Ethics and separate policies on gender equality and equal opportunities, responsible parenthood, anti-discrimination, and other recommendations for colleagues and clients. We became the first Ukrainian IT company to sign Women Empowerment Principles developed by UN Women and the UN Global Compact. Currently, we are actively implementing these principles into our strategy and in our daily work.
We created to Ukrainian Corporate Equality Index to give companies a clear road map on how to implement diversity and inclusion policies and to appreciate those companies, which succeeded on the way. We are happy to see Intellias among the 2021 finalists. We are convinced that employees will demonstrate better results and productivity if they feel safe on their teams. We hope that having an effective diversity and inclusion policy will become a standard for every Ukrainian business, and Ukrainian women will have access to even more inclusive workplaces.
We continue to improve processes and create various programs aimed at reducing inequality and creating an inclusive and diverse work environment. Recently, our practices were recognized at the Career Show Awards. We received bronze in the nomination “Strategy for implementing the principles of tolerance and inclusion”.
