Careers and Equal Opportunities: Intellias Brings Women Together at the She is Tech Conference

She is Tech, a one-day online event by Intellias with the support of UN Women, will unite more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs, top managers, and social activists from Europe and the US
January 19, 2024

On January 25, the global IT company Intellias will hold a She is Tech conference, a large-scale event for women in the tech industry. The goal of the conference is to foster gender balance for future tech evolution. For more than 10 hours, women from Europe and the USA will share their stories, experience, and motivation and exchange ideas.

The conference will discuss how the percentage of women in tech companies can be increased and what employers can do about it. It will also focus on women’s leadership and careers, considering personal stories of female leaders and top managers about their own paths and obstacles. The third theme will be the role of communities in empowering women in the technology sector and beyond.

Since signing the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in 2021, we’ve been consistently and systematically creating a better workplace for women at Intellias and contributing to overcoming the gender gap in the tech industry. It’s only natural that we now want to gather all partners and experts to have a meaningful conversation about how we can lead the tech industry together towards a greater gender balance.

Moreover, Antonija Bilić Arar, Senior Tech Writer & Editor at the Netokracija, will join the conference as a moderator of the Community stage:

I look forward to participating in this conference, bringing together the brightest European women in tech. Empowering women in tech is still important, and every step taken to make the IT industry more gender equal is a step in the right direction. It’s always inspiring and motivating to hear diverse real-life experiences and discuss how to make it easier for women in the tech industry. Netokracija has been doing it for almost 10 years with our Ladies of New Business events and our most recent project – a directory of female speakers for conference organizers. I am especially looking forward to moderating the Communities stage and hearing from women from across Europe about how being engaged in communities has helped them and enabled them to help other women.
