20 June 2024, Sofia, Bulgaria — The global technology company Intellias has become a member of the Bulgarian Diversity Charter, a joint initiative by the Center for the Study of Democracy and Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum that aims to promote diversity among Bulgarian businesses.

For years, Intellias has worked on effectively implementing its Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategy, which currently focuses on four main areas: gender equality, accessibility and inclusion, supporting veterans, and promoting family friendly initiatives. In 2021, the company signed Women’s Empowerment Principles and created an IntelliWomen community, which gives women a creative space for personal and professional growth. Intellias adheres to the family friendly policy and supports employees who have newborns. The company’s largest offices are equipped with nurseries, where employees can leave their children under the supervision of a nanny. Furthermore, the company is working on a veteran reintegration program, securing inclusive and accessible workplaces for all.
To ensure the effective implementation of diversity principles Intellias follows several policies, including the Equal Opportunities Policy, the Anti-Violence Policy, and the Policy for the Prevention of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. The company signed the declaration for gender equality and prevention of domestic violence, developed by the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine and the Development of the Corporate Social Responsibility Center.
The company’s Code of Corporate Ethics and its Ethics Committee guarantee compliance with principles of equality. They provide employees with a mechanism to submit anonymous appeals regarding any form of discrimination in the workplace.
