What project we have for you

Our client is a leading European e-commerce company.

What you will do

Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Visma products and other enterprise systems.
Develop and maintain custom extensions to enhance Visma functionality where necessary.
Create and document detailed technical specifications for integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration-specific issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Optimize existing integration processes for better performance and scalability.
Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to define system requirements for Visma integrations.
Stay updated with the latest Visma updates, APIs, and capabilities, incorporating them into existing solutions.

What you need for this

5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
Proven experience with integrating Visma products or platforms (e.g., Visma Business, Visma.Net, or similar).
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or others relevant to Visma integration).
Hands-on experience in creating, consuming, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs, particularly in Visma integration scenarios.
Practical knowledge of software design patterns and data structures.
Understanding of enterprise-level integration practices, including middleware and API gateways.
Familiarity with tools and techniques for authentication and authorization (e.g., OAuth2, SAML).
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems, especially in environments where Visma products interact.
Familiarity with build tools and package managers (e.g., Maven, Gradle, or equivalents).
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of data mapping and transformation processes essential to systems integration.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Visma API documentation and SDKs.
Familiarity with ERP system workflows and their integration points.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
Exposure to data synchronization mechanisms in multi-system environments.
