Successful candidates will be working developing high quality solution within the Scaled Agile framework best practices.

What project we have for you

Intellias is looking for a manual SW Tester for IVI development for major automotive OEM.
Project will be focused on development of Connectivity components in Android Platform which will include development HAL and service layer components.

Project goal is development of IVI media casting solution on Android Automotive software platform. Team size at the peak will be less than 10 engineers. Scaled Agile best practices alongside with automotive grade processes will be applied on this project.

What you will do

Design/Manage test plans for Android infotainment features
Develop automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Espresso, or similar frameworks
Perform functional, regression, performance, and system-level testing on embedded Android platforms
Under supervision of Lead QA, Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and resolve defects
Analyze logs, crashes, and performance metrics to identify root causes and improve system stability
Generate APK builds from Pull request and execute all related Test scenarios
Perform Sanity Testing before each Integration release
Perform smoke testing for Phone application and related services
Maintain test environments including emulators, test benches, and in-vehicle setups

What you need for this

3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in Android testing
Strong knowledge of Android platform, ADB tools, Logcat and related services
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Appium, UIAutomator2)
Basic understanding of Linux, UNIX systems and commands.
Good experience in Smoke Testing, Regression testing.
Experience in scripting (Python, Java, or Kotlin preferred)
Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2)
Test case development expertise
Test execution and bug reporting expertise
Location is Krakow
Flexible working hours

Will be a plus:

Exposure to automotive connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) is a plus
Experience in Automotive domain
Experience with code versioning tools such as Git (pull requests, branching strategies, tags, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)
Familiarity with the build process management tools such as CMake/Make
Experience with Python, bash scripting
Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Google Cast or Apple AirPlay
Scaled Agile experience
