Technical Engineering Delivery Manager

Managing the process of entra implementation in the client’s ecosystem 

• Execution of IT projects based on a developed and agreed project management plan;

• Preparation and approval of documents defining the scope of the IT project along with its detailed requirements;

• Organizing, leading, supervising, and documenting the work of the project team;

• Defining and monitoring performance indicators for the implementation of the IT project;

• Taking corrective actions related to issues arising from failure to ensure the required level of competencies, quality of work, or availability of the project team;

• Conducting and documenting periodic project review meetings with the participation of individuals involved in the project implementation;

• Supporting the process of managing and monitoring the progress of the IT project using appropriate tools;

• Managing risks and issues arising in IT projects, in particular through maintaining appropriate documentation;

• Effective management of the IT project schedule and budget using appropriate escalation mechanisms for emerging issues and changes to the method of project execution;

• Performing formal acceptance of phases, projects, or project deliverables in accordance with the applicable schedule;

• Managing compliance of the IT project execution process with its assumptions, as well as required standards, norms, and best practices;

• Creating documentation confirming the proper completion of the IT project;

• Performing other tasks related to IT systems as well as the management and leadership of IT projects.

• 5+ years of experience in Delivery Management in large teams (15+ people)
• 5+ years of experience in an Engineering Leadership Role (Lead Engineer, Solution Architect, Team Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager or similar role)
• 5+ years of experience in working with and being directly involved in the development of internet commercial solutions / platform ideally based on cloud providers / SaaS & multi-tenant and microservice based architecture
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the entire application development lifecycle
• Experience with B2B/B2C applications and system integrations is preferable
• Experience in managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and/or assesing technical solutions
• Familiar with software practices, both in the BUILD and RUN phases

Soft skills competencies:

• Experience working closely with leadership levels and cross-functional partners to influence key business decisions
• Experience in process improvement and implementation using lean methodologies
• Experience in driving technical and business decisions
• Experience with data technologies and products is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills and strong stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a keen understanding of technology propositions
• Fluent in English (Written and spoken)
• Ability to Travel to European markets

Technical background:

• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Familiar with DevOps and software lean engineering (CI/CD, IaC, Git Flow, GitOps, etc.)
• Strong understanding of PHP development stack
• Solid knowledge of technology used within e-commerce solutions, specifically Adobe Stack (Magento & Adobe Experience Manager)
• Basics understanding of ERP, CDP, PIM, OMS and CRM systems
• Knowledge of testing strategies, unit testing, and automated testing frameworks
• Up to date with emerging technologies and trends in web app development, including machine learning and IoT integration
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite Inc., Visio
• Application Lifecycle Management and Quality assurance methodology experience
• Vendor & Business Relationship management
