Our client seeks an experienced Salesforce GovCloud Developer to support a high‑priority initiative to achieve significant enhancements to their legacy government Salesforce environment. This role will focus on enhancing and reconfiguring critical elements of the legacy Federal Org, which is a highly customized, 10+ year‑old Salesforce Classic/Lightning hybrid environment with deep Certinia (FinancialForce) PSA dependencies, custom quote object development and significant technical debt. The consultant will operate within a multi‑org ecosystem, supporting discovery, design, development, and testing over an estimated 8–10 month delivery cycle.

A Fortune 500 company and member of the S&P 500 Index, Client was founded in 1984 and employs approximately 10,000 coworkers. The company generated annual revenue for 2024 was more than $20B.
o Build scalable, secure Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integration patterns, and data models aligned to GovCloud constraints.
o Refactor legacy Salesforce Classic components, technical debt, unmanaged workflows, and Apex code toward modernization and maintainability.
o Enhance or rebuild custom quoting, workflow automation, approvals, and PSA‑related functionality within the Federal Org.
o Ensure all development complies with FedRAMP, CMMC Level 2, NIST 800‑171, and internal client’s security requirements.
o Support secure configuration of profiles, permission sets, compliance-driven data models, and access controls across multiple Orgs.
o Review customizations and dependencies between Salesforce objects and Certinia PSA modules.
o Maintain or enhance PSA-driven logic (projects, timecards, resource management, billing workflows) as needed for Wave 1.1.
o Partner closely with Salesforce product owner, Client software engineering team, Solution Architect, QA, technical leaders to ensure cohesive delivery.
o Participate in early‑phase discovery to understand existing customizations, data models, and integrations previously owned by the outgoing partner.o Document system behavior, new features, integration points, and technical decisions to reduce future domain‑knowledge risk.
o Support QA cycles through unit tests, defect resolution, and validation of functional and non-functional requirements.
o Assist with release management, CI/CD alignment, and sandbox coordination in a secured GovCloud environment.
