As part of the Sales Operations team, your job will be to support the processes and policies with necessary data, analysis, metrics, studies, researches, insights and documentation to ensure that our decisions are data-driven, our policies are specific and data-centered, and our processes have an early warning system to detect and benefit/mitigate various trends, resulting in growing customer success.

What you will do

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyse sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement in sales performance and efficiency.
  2. Provide regular updates, insights, studies and analytical conclusions to senior management on sales performance and efficiency for further decision-making.
  3. Develop analytical models to ensure predictable sales performance and company revenue as a result on all levels: sales activities, deal-winning strategies, and pipeline reviews.
  4. Develop, maintain and continuously improve PowerBI sales reports and dashboards to track and communicate key sales performance indicators, behavioural patterns and trends.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to optimise analytics to drive revenue growth.
  6. Perform data analysis and modelling to support forecasting, budgeting, and KPI-setting processes.
  7. Prepare data sets to support G2M strategy development, including ICP definition and Target Accounts assessment.
  8. Develop and implement training programs for sales teams on sales analytics, tools and best practices.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies related to sales operations and data analysis, and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
  10. Cross-check and validate data in CRM and other systems, sales reporting, budgets and performance reports.
  11. Aide in preparing methodological, summary and presentation materials for supporting and enabling the sales function.

What you need for this

Requirements:

  • Higher education in mathematics, statistics, economics or business.
  • At least 5 years of analytical experience in sales and business development in large organisations, 1000+ headcount with B2B Sales Team of no less than 30 Sales Professionals. 
  • Working experience in multinational, globally-focused digital business (preferred), consulting (Big4 preferred) or other professional services.
  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to analyse complex data sets, create insightful reports and dashboards, and present findings to senior management to inform and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent skills in PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint and Think-Cell.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, such as regression analysis, correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing, is important for analyzing sales data and identifying trends and patterns.
  • Proficiency in data modelling techniques, such as data normalization and entity-relationship modelling, can help a Sales Operations Analyst to design and optimize sales databases.
  • Proven track record of driving the process of development and improvement of complex analytical models.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Experience with sales territory management, sales compensation planning, and sales analytics.
  • A plus is knowledge of sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, MEDDIC or SPIN Selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate English is a must, and Advanced is preferred.

Higher Education: Master’s Degree.
