Our customer portal is undergoing a transformation to a React-based microfrontend architecture, enhancing scalability, performance, and maintainability. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to play a key role in this transition, helping us build a modern, modular, and seamless user experience. • Lead the development and implementation of highly responsive user interface components using React concepts
• Write advanced application interface codes using JavaScript following React workflows, ensuring high performance and best user experience
• Translate complex designs and wireframes into high-quality code and build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Develop and implement advanced front-end architecture to support user interface concepts, working with front-end and back-end web developers and designing components and libraries that are reusable and future-proof
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product teams, and graphic designers to develop well-structured and flexible architecture, along with the APIs to support it
• Collaborate with back-end web developers to integrate APIs
• Mentor junior and middle developers, driving peer code reviews and helping drive development and software engineering best practices for the team
• Troubleshoot complex interface software issues, debug application codes, participate in code reviews, and provide code documentation
• Monitor and improve front-end performance, ensuring UI/UX designs meet usability guidelines and optimizing components across various devices and browsers
• Document application changes, develop updates, maintain existing React systems, and design and develop new custom components to meet complex project requirements
Required skills:
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on frontend technologies and architectural decision-making
• Expertise in React, Hooks, HOC, Render Props, and advanced performance optimization techniques
• Expertise with vaadin
• Proficient in building module-based applications and shared UX libraries (following Atomic design or similar approaches)
• Proficient in TypeScript and has a deep understanding of type checker systems
• Strong experience with multiple state management systems and can determine the most suitable system for specific use cases
• Good experience with SSR using Next.js, Gatsby, or similar frameworks
• Can set up custom builds for applications and async component loading
• Experience deploying static and NodeJS applications to AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar
• Ability to review code and provide structured feedback
• Proven ability to work in a CI/CD production environment
• Actively follows the latest updates in the ecosystem and community
• Passion for exploring new development platforms, languages, and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, ability to stay organized, and push projects forward
• Proficient with git-flow
• Familiarity with web components and their usage within a React application
Will be a plus:
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.
• Familiarity with code splitting and server-side rendering
• Experience with React Native
• Experience with cloud technologies (like AWS, GCP or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
