For software developers, this means working on high-load distributed systems, complex integrations, and data-intensive workflows where performance, reliability, and clean architecture are essential. The product evolves continuously in production, offering long-term ownership, deep domain expertise, and the chance to see engineering decisions translate directly into measurable business impact in a mature, stable, and technically demanding environment.
You will work as part of a Scrum software development team with members from Romania, Germany, and Ukraine who design and implement software that focuses on the transportation management
You will work on the web / mobile application used by customers which
You will be part of the product development organization, which consists of multiple software development teams and focuses on delivering high-quality software services for the customers, reachable via the web or mobile
What will you do:
• Work together with our software development team (scrum, 2 week sprints)
• Test new functionality and changes as regular work in the sprint (Web Portal, Mobile Application, APIs)
• Manage test cases (mostly Zephyr) and eventual supporting documentation
• Configure, use, and manage test environments and test data
• Automate API tests using RestAssured/JUnit (Java)
• Automate Web Application tests using Cypress/Playwright (TypeScript)
• Regression testing
• Exploratory testing
• Coach other team members in relevant aspects of testing
• Actively collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness
• Ensure the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled depending on context
We expect 50% / 50% distribution between manual / automation load for this position
As Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you must be able to provide:
• Ability to work in an autonomous, self-responsible and self-organised way
• 6+ years of experience in software testing, manual and automated
• Knowledge of software testing theory, concepts, techniques, best practices
• Strong Experience working with modern test automation frameworks and tools (such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, RestAssured, Postman)
• Strong experience in different testing practices (from unit to E2E, functional and non-functional) specifically integrated within CI/CD
• Strong knowledge of Java development for API tests
• Strong knowledge of JS / TS for End to End tests
• Understanding of OOP concepts
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/alerting tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Kibana, etc.)
• Experience working with quality gateways (e.g. Sonarqube, etc.)
• Knowledge of API testing and REST APIs
• Familiar with cloud-native solutions (preferably MS Azure)
• Knowledge in multiple platform concepts (Micro-services, Event-driven Architecture)
• Able to effectively communicate written/verbal in English and Ukrainian
• Willingless to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
Nice to have:
• Good experience in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience writing clean code in different programming languages.
• Experience with APP test automation tools.
