What project we have for you

We are a deeptech AI company obsessed with solving cytometry and thereby make an outsized and lasting impact on immune medicine: we want to make sure every patient gets the right treatment at the right time for their unique immune systems.

What you will do

  • Conduct user research with laboratory personnel, clinicians, and stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and task durations using our software and competitor solutions.
  • Analyse and synthesise research findings to inform product strategy and design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes to visualise research-driven concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Sales, and Product Management.
  • Apply design control principles and contribute to process management within regulatory frameworks such as ISO 13485.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas through sketches, digital prototypes, and in-person presentations to stakeholders and project teams. 
  • Plan and facilitate online/offline workshops with stakeholders and project teams to align on goals and solutions. 
  • Incorporate accessibility principles into your designs, championing inclusive and human-centered experiences. 
  • Support team growth by mentoring colleagues in areas of your expertise. 
  • Share knowledge and insights through presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions for the design community. 

What you need for this

  • Strong understanding of the product design domain, including best practices and emerging trends. 
  • Familiarity with medical device development standards (RUO or IVDR preferred).
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments, including familiarity with ISO 13485.
  • Proven experience conducting UX research in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Expertise in developing, applying, and optimising research methods for product discovery.
  • Experience validating design solutions against WCAG guidelines, with and without user testing. 
  • A human-centred design approach involves rapid testing and iteration of solutions. 
  • Solid time management and prioritisation skills for handling schedules in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. 
  • Confidence in task, requirements analysis, and effort estimation. 
  • Proficiency in design tools: Figma, FigJam. 
  • English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher. 

Will be a plus:

  • Relevant IT or Design education, certifications, or completed courses. 
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with experience in coaching and developing teams.
