Intellias’ mission is to support its strategy and efforts in the Digital and e-commerce space (e-commerce and other apps mobile apps, payment gateways, loyalty system, search engine, employee management, identity management, etc.).

A newly conceptualized Digital Eco System is comprised of a set of capabilities including an online shop & website, linking online & offline, customization & personalization, engagement & membership, digital product & services main differences.

What you will do

We are looking for a Regular QA Engineer with a strong focus on design system testing. The ideal candidate should have experience with CMS knowledge and configuration for testing purposes, specifically AEM and Builder.io.

 

What you need for this

Testing Experience

  • 3-5 years of QA experience (eCommerce preferably).
  • Requirements Definition: Define requirements while preparing use cases. Conduct interviews with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements. Clarify and document any ambiguities or edge cases.
  • Test Design: Responsible for test design and test case creation as part of Definition of Ready at the user story level (creating test cases or checklists in Allure TestOps based on functional requirements).
  • Test Strategy Definition: Responsible for defining test levels (test layers) in Allure TestOps for each story or feature.
  • API Integration Testing: Proficiency in API integration testing for backend services.
  • Functional/System Integration Testing: Proficiency in functional integration testing to ensure integrated components work together correctly.
  • End-to-End (E2E) Testing: Participate in end-to-end validation processes across the system.
  • Regression Testing: Experience with regression testing to ensure critical business processes are covered; perform thorough smoke, sanity, and regression tests during regular release activities.
  • Design System Testing: Must have strong hands-on experience in testing UI components, design patterns, and system rules. Ensure visual and functional consistency across various use cases, and verify compliance with UX/UI design principles, accessibility (a11y) standards, and performance benchmarks.
  • Test Plans & Cases: Design and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases (organized by activity/component and test level). Responsible for maintaining existing test cases and validating results of failed automated test runs.
  • Test Coordination: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities within the team.
  • Requirements Review: Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Traceability: Compose and keep up-to-date a traceability matrix of test cases to requirements, ensuring full coverage.
  • Defect Tracking: Identify, record, and document defects thoroughly, then track the delivery of fixes to end users.
  • QA Metrics: Track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities, open defect counts) to assess product quality and stability.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy: Identify QA process bottlenecks and suggest improvements. Actively participate in refining the testing strategy and ensure team adherence to it.
  • Environment Monitoring: Responsible for reporting lower environment (testing/staging) downtimes or issues.
  • User Support: Provide analysis and support for defects and change requests reported by end users.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

  • Critical Analysis: Capability to analyze test conditions and cases with appropriate detail.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in the production system.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all test results are properly documented and recorded in the dedicated test tool.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively and consistently within the team (Cluster) and with related or dependent teams (Clusters), Engineering Delivery Managers (EDMs), and other stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with various teams to ensure proper integration testing when there are inter-dependencies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cooperate closely with Automation QA Engineers to maintain and increase automation coverage of test cases.
  • Written Communication: Proficiency in communicating via text-based tools (e.g., MS Teams, Jira/Confluence, Email) and ability to concisely document technical details.
  • English Proficiency: Good communication skills in English.

Methodology Awareness & Experience

  • SCRUM: Experience working in a SCRUM team environment.
  • SDLC & CI/CD: Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience using Git-based version control systems integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Architecture & Technical Knowledge

  • Content Management Systems: Knowledge and hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Builder.io. This includes both end-user usage and system integration, with the ability to configure these platforms with frontend environments to support Design System Testing.
  • Tokenization & Hashing: Understanding of tokenizing/hashing (MD5) process flows.
  • Molecular Monolith Architecture: Understanding of how a molecular monolith architecture works.
  • Multi-Tenant Architecture: Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture and the capability to configure tenants for different markets/brands.
  • Software Design Patterns: Good knowledge of software design patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Web Development Fundamentals: Good understanding of web development technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
  • RESTful Services & HTTP: Experience in building and integrating RESTful services, with a strong understanding of the HTTP protocol.
  • Axios Library: Good understanding of the Axios library for handling HTTP requests.
