This role turns complex market and regulatory requirements into clear, testable data and integration deliverables for the Data Management team. You will work across business, product, architecture, engineering, and QA to ensure integrations and data products are defined, delivered, and accepted with predictable quality and governance.

The initial rollout focuses on Saudi Arabia as the first implementation country. The same approach, operating model, and reusable artefacts will be extended to additional countries over time, so the role must balance immediate delivery with a scalable, repeatable requirements process.

You will collaborate closely with existing Product Owner(s), Data Architect, and the Data Engineering team. In practice, you will act as a proxy Product Owner for the Data Management team: owning requirements of clarity, backlog health, story readiness, and acceptance support, while aligning priorities and product release goals with the Product Owner(s).

What project we have for you

The mission is to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. The client is an innovative and rapidly growing company, expanding across borders and disciplines – with a bold vision for the future of healthcare. We are building a team of exceptional individuals to help shape and deliver a transformative digital healthcare initiative. People are the most critical ingredient to our success.

The Digital Healthcare Team is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to support the development and launch of innovative digital care and life management programs, with an initial focus on diabetes and other chronic conditions. As part of this team, you will contribute to building a comprehensive digital health platform that empowers patients and their caregivers to manage complex health journeys more effectively. Our solution integrates multiple modular services into a seamless ecosystem designed to close the gap between clinical care and day-to-day life management.

Your ability to bridge business goals with user needs and technical constraints will be essential to delivering impactful, patient-centered solutions at scale.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end requirements discovery for Data Hub integration with Health Information Exchanges: workshops, stakeholder interviews, current-state analysis, gap identification, and future-state definition.
  • Translate external specifications and implementation guidance into DIH-ready functional requirements, including business rules, data expectations, validation logic, reconciliation needs, and exception handling.
  • Create and maintain a traceable requirements backbone: capability or feature definition, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios, ensuring a single agreed source of truth.
  • Drive data mapping and conceptual data modeling with the Data Architect and domain experts: define entities, attributes, relationships, code sets, reference data, and versioning impacts, in a form consumable by engineering teams.
  • Define data product and data hub integration requirements: required datasets, ownership, contracts for published data, metadata expectations, and consumption patterns for analytics and operational reporting.
  • Shape data governance-by-design requirements together with the Data Architect and governance stakeholders: data quality rules, stewardship touchpoints, controls, and auditability expectations.
  • Own backlog refinement and readiness for delivery: split work into manageable stories, resolve ambiguities, surface dependencies and risks early, and ensure stories are ready for estimation and implementation.
  • Coordinate cross-stream dependencies with other teams and vendors: interface expectations, sequencing, and priority alignment, escalating conflicts and proposing options for resolution.
  • Support testing and acceptance: define acceptance criteria and test scenarios, coordinate test data needs with QA, support UAT preparation, and confirm that delivered outcomes match business and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain essential delivery documentation: use case catalogue, requirement specifications, mapping decisions, key assumptions, open questions, and release notes, enabling smooth handover to support and operations.
  • Track outcome-focused measures for integrations and data products: data completeness, validation of pass rates, reconciliation gaps, timeliness, and defect trends, using them to drive continuous improvement.

What you need for this

Required experience and skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or proxy Product Owner in data or analytics programs, with hands-on ownership of a delivery backlog and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in Big Data, Lakehouse, data hub, or modern analytics platforms, with the ability to define requirements that translate into reliable data products and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of data concepts: entities and relationships, data lineage basics, reference data, schema evolution, and the practical meaning of data quality and reconciliation.
  • Experience working in regulated environments and with compliance-minded stakeholders; ability to turn constraints into testable requirements.
  • Ability to interpret industry specifications and convert them into actionable requirements and user stories without requiring low-level engineering knowledge.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills in English, able to align multiple stakeholders, drive decisions, and manage ambiguity.
  • Solid Agile delivery practice: backlog refinement, story slicing, iteration planning support, and iterative acceptance with a clear definition of done.

Nice to have

  • Experience with healthcare claims, reimbursement, or payer-provider integrations, including national or regional exchanges.
  • Prior exposure to the Saudi Arabia healthcare ecosystem, or experience adapting similar solutions to new geographies and regulatory regimes.
  • Experience shaping data governance artefacts such as data contracts, glossary inputs, lineage expectations, and data quality rule catalogues.
  • Experience supporting change management across business and technical teams during regulated integrations.
