Our customer is the first commercial helicopter operator in Saudi Arabia, providing a range of services such as private air transportation, emergency medical services, sightseeing tours, and VIP corporate charters. The company is designed to serve both the growing tourism sector and critical national needs, such as medical evacuations and transport in remote areas.

What project we have for you

We are looking for a skilled Senior AQA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing, executing, and maintaining tests. You will work closely with the development team, project managers, and other specialists to identify issues and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of quality.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop comprehensive testing strategies
  • Design Test Automation Frameworks and infrastructure from scratch
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and reliability
  • Analyze test results and provide regular test reports
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing
  • Promote the use of the Shift Left testing approach
  • Participate in continuous improvements, including platform tooling and processes, implementing best practices and bringing on innovations
  • Mentor and train team members on testing best practices and techniques

What you need for this

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
  • Thorough understanding of different testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies, being able to choose the most appropriate approach for a given project
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Experience with Playwright or Cypress for UI automation
  • Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns
  • Experience with API/Backend testing (REST, GraphQL)
  • Work with test data, fixtures, mocks, stubs
  • Knowledge of locators, DOM, async operations, waits
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with Node.js ecosystem (npm/yarn, scripts)
  • Experience writing integration and E2E tests
  • Skills in building automation frameworks from scratch
  • Experience with reporting tools (Allure, HTML reports)
  • Understanding of HTTP, cookies, sessions, authentication flows

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP services
  • Experience with Containerization tools and Docker in particular, k8s
  • Experience in Performance Analysis
  • Experience with Appium or other mobile native frameworks
  • Experience in Spring Boot
