Role Objective:
To realize modern, flexible, and API-driven commerce architectures, we are looking for a specialized Adobe Commerce Developer. Your focus will be on developing innovative solutions using Adobe App Builder, Adobe IO, Adobe API Mesh, as well as modern headless and composable architectures. You will form the technical backbone for the integration and extension of our commerce platform, particularly in orchestrating services and designing future-proof interfaces.

· Design, develop, and extend Adobe App Builder extensions for Adobe Commerce.
· Use Adobe IO (Runtime) to implement server-side logic, serverless functions, and API orchestration.
· Integrate internal and external services via Adobe API Mesh and optimize data flows using CDN technologies (e.g., Fastly) for seamless and high-performance user experiences.
· Actively contribute to the design and implementation of modern headless and composable commerce architectures.
· Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and security in line with established best practices and development guidelines.
· Collaborate closely within an agile team consisting of frontend developers, solution architects, DevOps engineers, and product owners.
· Document developed solutions and participate in code reviews.
· Onboard new products and features into our webshop.
· Work as part of a Scrum team and contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
· Implement deployment scripts for containerized environments.
Technical Skills:
· At least 3 years+ of solid experience in backend development with Adobe Commerce (Magento).
· Excellent knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, especially for developing App Builder applications.
· Hands-on experience with Adobe IO (Runtime), Adobe API Mesh, and ideally CDN solutions such as Fastly.
· Strong experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and integrating microservices.
· Good understanding of composable commerce principles and headless architectures.
· Confident working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
· Experience in writing automated unit and integration tests.
· Strong communication skills and a team-oriented personality.
· Structured approach, ability to maintain an overview, set priorities, and be reliable.
· Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused attitude.
· Fast learner who can break down complex issues into manageable work packages.
