Our Talent Growth and Development practice is looking for an experienced Professional Development Manager to join the team.

Intellias seeks an experienced Professional Development Manager to join our Talent Growth and Development practice. As a global software engineering company committed to engineering excellence, we aim to enhance our learning culture, focusing on comprehensive skill-driven programs that support our growth mindset values.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with leaders and experts to identify strategic capabilities gaps in emerging and in-demand technologies (e.g., AI) to drive organizational growth.
  • Support skill-driven transformation by co-creating strategies and enhancing current learning services for technical profiles.
  • Execute an L&D strategy aligned with company goals and technology aspirations.
  • Drive the educational tech programs roadmap design to adapt the learning strategy.
  • Promote and communicate learning offerings within the company to drive engagement.
  • Curate existing and design new learning services, utilizing varied learning modalities like workshops, e-learning, and online comprehensive modular programs. We have in place the following programs:
    • Group engineering upskill programs;
    • Bootcamps;
    • Technological awareness group programs;
    • Mentorship;
    • Self-directing e-learning programs.
  • Align engineering development with clear career pathways, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Ensure L&D operations effectively support all stakeholders in engineering development: business development leaders, delivery leaders, and engineers.
  • Define and track KPIs to assess the L&D effectiveness and ROI of the learning offerings.
  • Manage the engineering learning budget for cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Work with your direct reports (3 FTE) to optimize team performance and prioritize capacity based on organizational needs.
  • Ensure the engineering development team understands their performance goals and alignment with the learning strategy and organizational objectives.
  • Be a proactive contributor to the Talent Management team, leading effectively across the organization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in learning, tools, technology, and consulting by proactively improving and innovating the engineers’ growth offerings and strategy.

What you need for this

Experience:

  • 2+ years of managing training & development processes or programs focusing on engineers’ development.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strategic Thinking: ability to align learning initiatives with business strategy to drive growth, scalability, and adaptation to emerging technologies.
  • Stakeholder-centric mindset: identifying key stakeholders, understanding their expectations, and delivering tailored solutions that address project-specific needs.
  • Leadership & Team Management: inspiring and developing a high-performing team of three training coordinators while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communication & Influence: strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to lead impactful conversations, and build lasting partnerships in expert environments.
  • Learning Program Design & Development: expertise in creating effective and engaging engineering learning experiences across multiple modalities.
  • L&D Tech Savviness: understanding of the latest trends in learning technologies and the ability to manage complex digital ecosystems.
  • Technological Credibility: solid technical foundation with knowledge of IT roles, industry domains, emerging tech trends, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Data-driven decision-making: leveraging data insights to demonstrate L&D impact and ROI while crafting compelling narratives.
  • Budget & Resource Management: a cost-conscious approach to maintaining quality, including expertise in sourcing and managing third-party vendors.
  • English Proficiency: good spoken (B1+) and written (B1+) English skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in project design connected to career development and/ or skill strategy in IT.

Higher Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree.
