Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, proactiveness, and clear communication are key to contributing effectively to the team and to the overall quality of the platform.

What project we have for you

The mission is to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. The client is an innovative and rapidly growing company, expanding across borders and disciplines—with a bold vision for the future of healthcare. We are building a team of exceptional individuals to help shape and deliver a transformative digital healthcare initiative. People are the most critical ingredient to our success.

The Digital Healthcare Team is seeking a skilled and motivated QA Engineer to support the development and launch of innovative digital care and life management programs, with an initial focus on diabetes and other chronic conditions. As part of this team, you will contribute to building a comprehensive digital health platform that empowers patients and their caregivers to manage complex health journeys more effectively. Our solution integrates multiple modular services into a seamless ecosystem designed to close the gap between clinical care and day-to-day life management. Your ability to ensure quality and compliance at every stage will be essential to delivering impactful, patient-centered solutions at scale.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, analyze, and document test requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Design, implement, and maintain manual test suites for web  layers and automated test suites for API layers, ensuring high coverage and reliability.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups by clarifying quality-related tasks and priorities.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive test documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and support audit readiness by maintaining accurate test evidence and documentation.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and practices to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
  • Communicate test status, risks, and quality metrics clearly and regularly with stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions around compliance, security, and healthcare domain alignment.

What you need for this

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in software development projects
  • Proven experience in healthcare-related projects, with a strong understanding of healthcare data workflows and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP)
  • Experience with requirements traceability, test case management, and defect lifecycle in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
  • Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into comprehensive test strategies and test cases
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining test documentation: Test Plans, Test Cases, Traceability Matrices, and Test Reports
  • Proven experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
  • Advanced proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and test management systems (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail)
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on expertise in test automation (UI/API), test design, and building/maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, REST-assured) will be a great plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data models and exchange formats (FHIR, HL7, C-CDA).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.
  • Proven experience in healthcare-related projects, with a strong understanding of healthcare data workflows and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP).
