What project we have for you

Our customer is a Dutch multinational developer and creator of location technology and consumer electronics headquartered in Amsterdam. They are looking for skilled Python Engineers.

What you will do

Participate in the development, and maintenance of Python applications (e.g. plugins for QGIS solutions).
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.
Write clean, efficient, and self-documented code.
Implement automation tests.
Collaborate with team members to identify and solve technical problems.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.

What you need for this

3+ years of experience working as a Python Engineer or in a similar software development role.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Python.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in databases, and ORMs (relational and NoSQL).
Proficiency in containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, for creating and managing scalable application environments.
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab, for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork, stakeholder management, and expectation alignment.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify and resolve complex system issues.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Will be a plus:

Experience with geospatial data and QGIS.
