What project we have for you
Our Customer is the European R&D center for some of the world’s leading automotive brands. Together, we work on new mobility technologies and digital experiences for next-generation vehicles.
What you will do
- Design automotive digital experiences from concepts to detailed, implementation-ready solutions
- Create intuitive and visually refined interfaces for infotainment and other digital vehicle touchpoints
- Translate user, business, and technical requirements into clear interaction and interface solutions
- Explore and validate design directions through concepts, prototypes, and user research
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders throughout product development
- Create detailed design specifications and support implementation with development teams
- Contribute to design systems and reusable components
- Present and communicate design solutions to project teams and stakeholders
- Participate in design reviews and knowledge sharing within the design team
What you need for this
We are looking for a Middle Product Designer to join our Product Design Studio and contribute to automotive infotainment and digital vehicle experiences across in-car screens and connected touchpoints.
You will work in a complex product environment where strong product thinking, interaction design, and high-quality interface craft are equally important.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or a similar role
- Strong product thinking and ability to turn user, business, and technical requirements into clear and usable product experiences
- Strong interface design craft, demonstrated through high-quality digital products for touch-enabled devices
- Experience designing interfaces for mobile, tablet, consumer electronics, or other touch-based digital products
- Strong understanding of interaction and visual design principles, including hierarchy, layout, typography, color, states, feedback, touch interaction, and motion
- Experience designing digital products from concept to detailed, implementation-ready solutions
- Experience with user-centered design processes, prototyping, testing, and iteration
- Strong proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems and reusable components
- Experience using AI-enabled tools, including Figma AI, as part of the design workflow for exploration, research, prototyping, or delivery
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Systematic and detail-oriented approach to design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both design thinking and consistently high-quality final execution
- Driver’s license and practical driving experience
- English level B2+
Will be a plus
- Experience in the automotive domain
- Experience with automotive HMI, infotainment, instrument clusters, or other in-vehicle digital products
- Experience designing embedded systems, connected products, or other hardware-integrated digital experiences
- Experience in mobility, consumer electronics, or other complex product domains
- Strong interface animation and motion design skills
- Experience collaborating with software and hardware development teams
- Understanding of accessibility principles, automotive standards, guidelines, or safety constraints
- Chinese language skills
