Senior Cloud Network Engineer

• Design and maintain scalable AWS network architectures spanning multiple regions and accounts.
• Build and optimize cloud connectivity solutions using AWS networking services, hybrid connectivity models, and high-availability routing patterns.
• Develop and implement network segmentation strategies to support security, compliance, and traffic isolation requirements.
• Enhance and evolve cloud Landing Zone capabilities to enable efficient onboarding and standardized operations.
• Integrate secure access solutions and traffic inspection capabilities using Prisma Access technologies.
• Ensure network architectures comply with corporate security standards, AWS security recommendations, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with security teams to implement zero-trust networking principles and least-privilege access models.
• Automate network deployment and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting technologies.
• Monitor network health, performance, and routing efficiency, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Implement advanced routing policies, route controls, and filtering mechanisms to ensure predictable traffic flows.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, application, and security teams to deliver networking solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Contribute to strategic network initiatives, including secure connectivity, cloud onboarding frameworks, cross-region communication, and infrastructure modernization efforts.

Cloud Networking & Architecture

• 6+ years of experience designing and operating cloud networking solutions, with strong expertise in AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Route 53, and Direct Connect.
• Solid understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and network segmentation models.
• Experience designing highly available and scalable network environments.

Security & Connectivity

• Practical experience with Prisma Access, including GlobalProtect, SPNs, and CANs.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, AWS Network Firewall, WAF, IAM, and secure VPN implementations.
• Understanding of zero-trust networking concepts and security-driven routing strategies.

Routing & Infrastructure Automation

• Experience working with routing technologies and protocols, including BGP and ECMP.
• Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and operational improvements.

Communication & Collaboration

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, platform, and security teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Cloud WAN segmentation, policy-based routing, Transit Gateway integration, and service insertion models.
• Background in highly regulated environments with strict compliance and governance requirements.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• AWS Advanced Networking, PCNSE, or similar industry-recognized certifications.
• Previous involvement in large-scale enterprise network transformation initiatives.
