What project we have for you
Design, build and support modern cloud-based applications on the Microsoft stack, with a focus on .NET, Azure and GitHub.
You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and participating in solution design through implementation, deployment and production support. You’ll work with experienced engineers and architects to build secure, maintainable and reliable software while continuing to develop your technical skills.
What you will do
- Build and evolve backend services and APIs using .NET, C# and ASP.NET Core
- Contribute to the design of scalable, resilient, secure and maintainable applications
- Participate in technical design discussions and understand the trade-offs behind different approaches
- Deploy, support and troubleshoot services running in production
- Apply established architecture principles, design patterns, automated testing and code quality practices
- Work with Azure services across compute, storage, messaging, identity and monitoring
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners and other stakeholders to deliver working software
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices
- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot effectively for coding, testing, analysis and documentation
What you need for this
- Good hands-on experience developing software using .NET, C# and ASP.NET Core
- Experience building and supporting software applications in production
- Good understanding of REST APIs, application architecture and common integration patterns
- Experience working with Azure or another major cloud platform
- Understanding of software design principles, design patterns, performance, reliability and security
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests
- Ability to troubleshoot application and integration issues
- Ability to work independently on well-defined problems and collaborate effectively on more complex ones
- Clear communication and ability to work effectively within a cross-functional engineering team
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Frontend experience with TypeScript and React
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Experience with logging, metrics, tracing and production diagnostics
- Experience with containerized workloads or cloud-native application platforms
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in real engineering workflows
