Middle Manual QA Engineer

• Conduct manual testing of software applications
• Perform frontend automation testing
• API testing
• Develop and maintain test documentation to ensure comprehensive testing of software applications and visibility of testing progress and the value it brings
• Conduct manual testing of the application under test on all required levels and stages
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Participation in team plannings, estimations, and various ceremonies
• Collaborate with team members to comprehend project requirements and identify testing needs to ensure acceptable testing coverage
• Keep up with the newest testing tools, technologies, and best practices
• Communication with customer for requirements analysis, sprint planning, estimations, retrospectives
   

• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong experience in WEB application testing
• Strong experience in API testing
• Front end automation experience is also desirable
• Expert in the functional testing process, including test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management
• Experience creating and implementing test artifacts (test plan, test strategy, etc.)
• Practice experience with SQL
• Good understanding of Agile practices and SDLC
• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Test Management tooling.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Good written and spoken English

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge around accessibility, localisation, responsive UI design is a bonus
• Prior experience of microservice architecture testing
• Prior experience in Fintech projects
