You will become a part of a highly skilled international team. We take part in full cycle testing of the new generation navigation software running on the car head unit. Based on powerful location SDK and QT framework, application is responsible for rendering the vector maps, with or without using a data connection, and provides route calculation, places search, turn-by-turn guidance capabilities as well as access to advanced online services such as dynamic navigation, route optimization due to traffic conditions and incidents, public transit, Venues 3D, Street-level Imagery and LiveSight. Smoothly integrated with the Android and iOS companion applications, if forms a friendly and extremely useful in-car navigation solution.

We strongly believe in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Automation in our team. Although we practice automation on every level and automate tests and deployments all the way up to production, manual, E2E and field testing is significant part of our activities as well.
• Take over of existing test automation suites
• Backward compatibility testing for SW and map data releases
• Maintenance, monitoring and execution of automated tests
• Root cause analysis of failed tests and report issues/take corrective actions
• Create test reports, defect troubleshooting and follow up
• Work with hardware
• Maintain test related documentation
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or equivalent
3+ years of overall professional experience in QA
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Programming skills: a scripting language (Java), bash
Deep knowledge of software testing related best practices and UNIX system, Secure Shell (SSH)
Well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player
Upper-Intermediate English, both in spoken and written form
Ability to work independently with no supervision
MUST:
on-hands experience with test framework creation and it extension with new test cases
API testing using test framework (NOT UI, Postman is not enough)
The following is a big plus:
Experience in embedded software (specially automotive related) system would be great advantage
Experience with continuous integration (preferably Jenkins) and source control systems (preferably git)
Experience with code review support systems is a plus
