M&A and Strategic Investments department overview 

The M&A department is responsible for developing and shaping M&A strategy, sourcing opportunities from over 30 countries, and converting them into actionable deals. Our team leads the full transaction lifecycle, from evaluating numerous potential targets, crafting deal structures, and executing transactions that deliver long-term value. The M&A team is instrumental in negotiating the terms of the deal, overseeing due diligence of the target to confirm our beliefs about the company, identifying any potential risks and issues, and steering the transaction through to successful closing. 

What you will do

  • Deal Sourcing & Evaluation – Research and identify potential investment opportunities across Europe, North America, and Latin America. 
  • Due Diligence Support – Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support investment decisions. 
  • Presentation Development – Prepare investment memos for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Pipeline Management – Maintain and update long lists, and other deal-tracking tools. 
  • Market & Target Research – Conduct strategic market analysis to uncover trends and identify emerging opportunities. 

What you need for this

  • Experience: 1–2 years in a relevant role within a Big-4 firm (valuation, deal advisory, transaction support or audit), investment banking, private equity, or in-house M&A/corporate finance. 
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Languages: English C1. 
  • Sector Interest: Genuine interest in the IT services and technology sectors. 
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent presentation skills, and clarity in communicating complex ideas.
