As an IT Automation expert, you’ll be responsible for shaping and driving automation strategies that enhance service orchestration and operational e iciency. You will drive continuous improvement by enabling service teams to leverage automation and AI to elevate service maturity and outcomes. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of automation systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of automation tools (including AI) and technologies. You will guide the development and rollout of automation initiatives, provide technical leadership and mentorship, and foster innovation by staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies.

Your ability to analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, drive implementation and communicate the value of automation through clear reporting will be key to success in this role.

Our customer is a multinational corporation with more than a century of history and offices in over 180 countries. Their most ambitious goal at the time is to introduce a range of Reduced-Risk Products (RRPs). The target audience is more than 1 billion of consumers around the globe. IT platform hosts 700+ applications.
Intellias mission is to help the client with the engineering of a comprehensive software ecosystem for a game-changing IoT product on the margin of innovative consumer experience and cutting-edge technology. Our teams are involved in the engineering of core platform components for best in class eCommerce, Digital Marketing and IoT solutions. 

What you will do

  • Lead the direction and implementation of IT automation strategies and solutions within Service Orchestration.
  • Coordinate delivery of initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external contributors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members. Lead technical discussions across multiple teams to ensure alignment and compliance of the solutions.
  • Support the development, testing, and rollout of solutions.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of automation solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops or brainstorming sessions to explore AI-driven innovation.
  • Recommend best practices, frameworks, and tools for AI integration.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of automation systems and make necessary
  • improvements. Analyze process inefficiencies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT automation.
  • Prepare and present reports on automation projects and their benefits and value

What you need for this

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT automation and AI, with a strong understanding of automation tools and technologies
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of the main AI integration techniques: MCP and A2A
  • AWS/Azure/GCP certifications experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Will be a plus:

  • Ideally, you bring experience contributing to broader AI strategy development – identifying and evaluating opportunities across service domains and aligning them with IT goals.
  • Experience applying UX principles to ensure AI and automation solutions are intuitive and user-friendly is a strong plus.
  • HashiCorp Terraform Associate as plus
  • Proficiency in languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript as plus
  • Experience with API integration and RESTful services
  • ServiceNow (for ITSM automation)
