Their most ambitious goal at the time is to introduce a range of Reduced-Risk Products (RRPs), offering smokers a healthier alternative to traditional cigarettes. The target audience is more than 1 billion of consumers around the globe.

What project we have for you

Intellias mission is to help a client with the engineering of a comprehensive software ecosystem for a game-changing IoT product on the margin of innovative consumer experience and cutting-edge technology. Our teams are involved in the engineering of core platform components for best-in-class eCommerce, Digital Marketing and IoT solutions. As a DevOps engineer you will become a part of Core Architecture Team and be responsible for the implementation of best practices in our Digital Engineering Enterprise Platform.

The Platform is a set of services and internet applications that accelerate the development and delivery of software applications by taking care of common SDLC challenges. The Platform provides access and consumption for engineering teams to a set of services, technologies, practices for their development and for operating their application, ensure a set of compliance and best practices.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain software delivery pipelines and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that software is delivered with high quality, speed, and reliability.
  • Automate manual processes, such as testing, deployment, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues in production environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation plans.
  • Manage and scale infrastructure resources, such as servers, databases, and cloud services, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuously learn and keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends to improve system performance, security, and efficiency.

What you need for this

Hard Skills:
• Deep knowledge and working experience (architecture and development) of
cloud architectures in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC – Terraform and
Cloudformation) – At least 6 years of experience.
• Experience working on complex Python Backend solutions hosted in the cloud
(using and enforcing backend best practices, such as linters, inheritance,
frameworks) – At least 6 years.
• Experience in Configuration Management solutions – at least 6 years.
• Working experience in Windows and Linux systems administration – at least 6
years.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies & tools, Docker, EC2, Jenkins, Puppet, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of web-based and service-based architectures (REST and
GraphQL), and micro-services patterns.
• Deep knowledge of privacy and security standards (AWS Foundational Security
Best Practices, CIS, etc)
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25; with a proven track record
and experience in implementing and integrating remediation strategies
• Preferred experience with driving and implementing secure development
practices into SDLC (SSDLC); ability to successfully integrate security into a
developer’s world.
• Strong understanding of cloud connectivity, including VPC peering, VPNs, and
hybrid cloud setups. Experience with setting up and managing secure and efficient
connectivity between cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure is a plus.
Desire to understand and be proficient in this domain is also a plus
• Ability to continuously be up to date with security and technical trends and
evolve a platform based on them.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
• Experience in leading a team is a plus.
• Experience working on a Platform is a plus.
• Frontend experience – optional but a plus.
• Solution Architect Associate Certification- optional but a plus.

• Able to work independently, come up with solutions, and drive an engineering
feature from requirements gathering, team coordination, and implementation.
• Able to enforce and come up with best practices for development for the team to
follow.

• A keen eye for quality with regards to following and establishing good coding
practices, improving code coverage
• Good stakeholder management, ability to build trust and rapport with internal and
external stakeholders
