We are looking for a Creative Director to join our customer’s Global Digital Marketing team through Intellias on a staff augmentation basis.

This is not a conventional creative role. As the senior creative voice inside a growing in-house Creative Factory, you will set the quality standard for one of the world’s leading agri-science companies — shaping work that reaches growers, distributors, and agricultural communities across more than 90 markets.

You are the quality bar, the creative provocateur, and the senior voice that gives the Creative Factory the credibility to move from a production function to a genuine strategic partner. If you believe in-house creative teams can outperform external agencies and want to prove it at global scale, this role is for you.

What project we have for you

Our customer is a global leader in agricultural innovation, operating across more than 100 countries and serving millions of farmers. Its Global Digital Marketing function is building an in-house Creative Factory — a full-service internal agency delivering campaigns, key visuals, video, digital assets, UI/UX, and more across every market and brand.

The Creative Director reports directly to the global marketing creative operations lead and collaborates daily with a Creative Strategist and an Operations Manager, forming the leadership core of this growing team. The mandate is clear: transform business objectives into creative vision and raise the bar on every piece of creative that carries the brand.

What you will do

Creative leadership and vision

  • Own the creative vision across the Creative Factory, setting the standard for quality, consistency, and ambition across all output formats
  • Lead concept development and key visual creation, bringing brand strategy to life in ways that resonate across 90+ markets and business functions
  • Direct and produce across disciplines — campaign concepting, art direction, copywriting, video, UI/UX, and digital — without working in isolation from the team
  • Champion brand intelligence as the Creative Factory’s core advantage: deep agricultural knowledge, grower centricity, and brand understanding that no external agency can match
  • Review and approve all creative output, providing clear and actionable feedback that raises the standard of every deliverable

Team direction and mentorship

  • Provide strong, decisive creative direction to designers, video editors, UI/UX specialists, developers, and copywriters across the team
  • Mentor and develop creative talent, coaching individuals to grow their craft and elevating collective output through feedback and example
  • Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to ensure strategic intent and business objectives are powerfully expressed in the creative work
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to align creative ambition with capacity, scheduling, and delivery reality
  • Foster a creative culture that values experimentation, craft, and continuous improvement

Stakeholder engagement and client partnership

  • Serve as the senior creative voice in stakeholder conversations, presenting and defending creative concepts with clarity and confidence
  • Partner with internal clients across GDM and market teams to understand business context, campaign goals, and audience needs
  • Lead creative presentations and reviews, building trust and raising ambition through clear communication of creative rationale and choices
  • Manage relationships with external agency partners where in-house production is not the right model, ensuring creative standards are upheld

AI integration and creative innovation

  • Lead the Creative Factory’s adoption of generative AI tools, integrating them purposefully into ideation, exploration, and production workflows
  • Use AI to accelerate creative possibility: faster concepting, greater variant production, and higher-quality output without compromising craft or brand integrity
  • Stay ahead of developments in AI and creative technology, evaluating new tools and sharing insights to maintain the Creative Factory’s competitive edge
  • Model a progressive, curious approach to AI, helping the wider team build confidence and capability with emerging tools

What you need for this

Must-have

  • 8+ years of experience in senior design, art direction, and creative concepting. A career that began as a graphic designer, art director, or copywriter is a strong plus, but candidates who developed equivalent visual direction skills through another route are also welcome to apply
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or communications
  • Minimum 5 years in an advertising agency or in-house marketing team with similar responsibilities — agency experience is mandatory
  • Hands-on creative production experience at some point in the candidate’s career — someone who has personally created assets, not only directed others, even if the current role is fully directorial
  • Strong professional portfolio of digital and brand campaigns spanning key visual development, campaign concepting, and at least one of: video, UI/UX, or brand identity
  • Proven leadership: mentoring designers and copywriters, managing both internal creative teams and external agencies or freelancers
  • Strategic alignment: ability to connect artistic vision with business goals and budgets
  • Active and fluent use of generative AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or equivalent) in creative workflows
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Strong English — written and verbal — able to present and defend work to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable — comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume team with no direct reports

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in B2B, pharma, or other regulated / complex industries
  • Multi-market or global brand environment experience
  • Background in agricultural, life-science, or sustainability brand storytelling
  • Additional European language
