What project we have for you

To design scalable, secure, and effective technical solutions for our multi-tenant GenAI platform. This role bridges the gap between high-level requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that new functionalities align with company standards, security protocols, and architectural best practices.

What you will do

Solution Design and Technical Planning:

  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical architectures for new GenAI platform features.
  • Design comprehensive solution architectures that include infrastructure components, service interactions, data flows, and security considerations.
  • Create diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation guides for the engineering team that are clear and actionable.
  • Determine appropriate configurations to meet performance, security, and cost objectives.

 Security and Compliance Architecture:

  • Design solutions that adhere to the project policy framework and industry best practices, performing threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Work with project first line of defense to ensure designs meet all security and compliance requirements.
  • Implement proper authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation mechanisms in architectural designs.

 Governance and Approval Process Navigation:

  • Present architectural designs to the Architecture Review Board (ARB) with clear justifications.
  • Address concerns or questions from stakeholders during review processes.
  • Modify designs based on feedback from security teams and ARB.
  • Document approval decisions and implementation conditions.

 Technical Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation.
  • Document processes, design decisions and their rationales.
  • Develop reference architectures for common platform patterns.
  • Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable to the engineering team.

 Technology Evaluation and Selection:

  • Evaluate existing and emerging tools/technologies to determine fitness for the GenAI platform.
  • Perform comparative analysis between potential solutions based on technical requirements, security considerations, cost, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Make evidence-based recommendations for technology stack enhancements.
  • Create proof of concepts to validate critical architectural decisions when necessary.

 Implementation Support:

  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams during implementation.
  • Clarify design details and make decisions on implementation questions.
  • Review implementation progress to ensure alignment with the approved architecture.
  • Troubleshoot architectural issues that arise during implementation.

 Technology Research and Innovation:

  • Proactively monitor industry trends and advancements in GenAI, cloud architecture, and relevant technologies.
  • Evaluate how new technologies could enhance the platform capabilities.
  • Propose architectural improvements based on research findings.
  • Share knowledge with the team through presentations or technical discussions.

What you need for this

Technical Expertise:

  • Knowledge of AWS services, particularly:
      – AWS Bedrock and generative AI implementation patterns;
      – Amazon OpenSearch and other vector databases;
      – IAM roles and permissions;
      – API Gateway;
      – EKS cluster architecture and security;
      – Cognito authentication flows;
      – AWS networking (VPC, NLB, Security Groups, VPC Links);
  • Understanding of multi-tenant  architecture patterns.
  • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Knowledge of security principles for AI/ML platforms.
  • Costs control, tracking, and budgeting.

Process and Governance:

  • Experience navigating enterprise architecture governance processes.
  • Familiarity with threat modelling methodologies.
  • Understanding of formal architecture review processes.
  • Documentation and diagramming skills (e.g., AWS architecture diagrams).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate with security teams, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Self-motivated research and learning capabilities.
