What project we have for you

We are looking for senior accountant with international experience who will be responsible for two Intellias Poland entities (alongside with global Accounting Team and external vendors). We also expect that this person will control over accounting and reporting matters within other Intellias entities in EU.

What you will do

  • Accounting in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and Intellias accounting policies and procedures.
  • Payroll coordination with external suppliers (double check calculations, verification of reports (PIT, ZUS, PPK, etc.), approval for submission).
  • Transition of payroll process from supplier to in-house during 2024.
  • Managing month-end closure activities: supervising reconciliations of accounts, follow-up on open items, maintenance of intra-group operations with related parties.
  • Timely preparation of tax declarations (VAT, CIT, WHT, JPK (in perspective), financial statements and statistics reports (GUS, NBP, etc.).
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports.
  • Preparing documentation for audit and cooperating with external auditors.
  • Communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Communication with tax authorities and participation in tax audits (payroll related and company-wide).
  • Supporting Transfer Pricing compliance, in particular preparation of financials for calculating profitability and provision other information required for preparation Local file.
  • Verifying current processes and initiating improvements including the latest changes in applicable legislation.

What you need for this

  • University degree in finance related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge about payroll processes and tax law.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills including the ability to resolve issues impacting different interconnected systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work with people at different levels.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment.
  • Fluency in English (at least B2).
  • ACCA would be a plus.
  • Microsoft Dynamics general knowledge would be a plus.
