9 September 2024 — Lviv, Ukraine — Global tech company Intellias has donated 1 million UAH for the reconstruction of buildings in Lviv that were destroyed by a recent missile strike. The company supported the initiative of the Lviv IT Cluster.
In total, the Lviv IT Cluster Foundation, together with its member companies, has raised 4 million UAH for the restoration project. Intellias is one of the main donors of this effort.
The missile strike on civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in Lviv is another reminder of insidiousness and wickedness of our enemy. We immediately responded to the Lviv IT Cluster initiative and donated to the restoration of the destroyed and damaged buildings. We encourage other businesses to join in as well.
On September 4, 188 buildings were damaged as a result of a russian attack on Lviv, 20 of which are in critical condition. These include five educational institutions, two art centers, two medical facilities, and the St. George the Victorious Church of the OCU.
The Lviv IT Cluster team is overseeing all aspects of the donation process, from managing the necessary tender procedures to supervising the technical aspects of the reconstruction works.
Intellias always participates in important initiatives to help those affected by the war. In particular. Earlier this year, the company and its specialists donated 1 million UAH to restore the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv, which was hit by an enemy missile this summer. In 2023, Intellias donated 1 million UAH to organizations providing necessary equipment to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and humanitarian aid to the locals who suffered from the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP.
Additionally, Intellias regularly conducts its own charity and volunteer projects to support Ukraine’s defenders. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company’s total contributions to the Ukrainian Armed Forces have exceeded 100 million UAH.
