Every step and every kilometer can give children a chance for a better future.

As environmental and social issues continue to intensify, initiatives with real, positive impact are more important than ever. One such example is Ecomobility Summer at Intellias — a global initiative that combines care for the environment with meaningful support for those who need it the most.

From June through September, Intellias employees across the globe are walking and cycling their way toward a shared goal: donating bikes to children from the Happy Kids Foundation in Poland. For every 25,000 kilometers covered, the company will donate one bike to children in foster care. This year, the team is aiming for an ambitious goal of 250,000 kilometers, which will allow to donate 10 new bikes.

This project combines environmental care with tangible support for children. Every kilometer we travel not only reduces our carbon footprint but also brings a smile to a child’s face and real help where it’s needed most.

CSR Lead at Intellias

The initiative has been met with great enthusiasm from Intellias employees, who are proving that everyday activity can make a difference for the planet and for those in need. The campaign launched on June 3, aligning with World Bicycle Day, and was celebrated with a symbolic “Bike to Work”initiative in 11 cities, from Porto to Kraków and from Málaga to Ingolstadt.

The project’s partner, the Happy Kids Foundation, provides a stable, supportive environment for children without parental care. It’s a place where trust is built through daily routines, and where each child can discover their own potential with the support of individualized care.

Ecomobility Summer 2025 is a brilliant example of an initiative that brings together environmental awareness, social connection, and support for children. Every kilometer represents more than just a movement  it’s a helping hand, a child’s smile, and the power of teamwork.

Ecomobility Summer is just one way Intellias integrates technology, corporate culture, and social values. For years, the company has been committed to climate action and supporting local communities, demonstrating that IT and social responsibility can go hand in hand to drive positive change. This year, Intellias also joined the Pact for Climate in Krakow — an initiative that fosters collaboration among businesses, organizations, universities and local communities in the fight against climate change.
