In April 2019, Intellias announced the official opening of a new branch office in Krakow, Poland. Following a successful launch in Berlin, Intellias continues to expand its presence on the global technology scene by putting a new office on the map. Krakow is the second largest city in Poland and home to over 200 startups and tech-focused companies; its infrastructure will help to spur Intellias innovation and progress.
Opening a new delivery center in Poland is a strategic decision that will allow the company to deliver services from within the European Union to company’s existing and new clients. A local presence in the EU is important for reasons related to GDPR, IPR, legal, and security compliance. The Krakow office will help Intellias meet company’s clients’ needs and policies.
Poland has been a clear target for Intellias European delivery center for its market maturity, geographic proximity, and mindset contiguity. The office in Krakow, will allow us to deliver services from inside the European Union to new and existing clients.
While Poland has been a clear target for Intellias first European delivery center, Intellias was choosing between Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, and a number of smaller cities to become one of the company’s international offices. Krakow has won, being a well-developed IT hub in Central and Eastern Europe, and consequently for being appealing to clients and engineers. Ranked among the top 10 university cities in Europe, Krakow has an estimated 170,000 students. This means access to an ample variety of exceptional specialists. The city is also ranked 9th in the Tholons Top 100 Outsourcing Destinations list — the highest ranked European destination.
Moreover, Krakow is one of Europe’s most visited tourist hotspots. It’s located close to Ukraine and is connected by direct flights to four of Intellias major delivery centers.
