On January 25, managers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and public figures from Europe and the USA spent more than 10 hours discussing challenges that women face in IT and sharing personal success stories. Here is a brief recap of She Is Tech, plus conference recordings.

Recordings of all conversations and thematic discussions are available at this link

It was a great experience of exchanging thoughts with female leaders of tech companies, listening to their stories about challenges, victories, and achievements they had in a professional field. I’m looking forward to encouraging more women to start their career in tech. I hope that we will have more diverse workplaces by the time my daughter starts her professional journey.

Leadership, work environment, communities

One of the main questions discussed at the conference was how gender balance can contribute to the evolution of technology. This topic was divided into three stages:

  • Leadership. Modern leaders, their journey to executive positions, and obstacles along the way
  • Working environment. What employers can do to increase the percentage of women in tech companies
  • Communities. How communities empower women in the technology sector and beyond

Thank you for inviting me to speak at the ‘She Is Tech Conference’! The team did an incredible job curating such thought-provoking insights from speakers from around the world. I look forward to seeing the positive impact that will emerge from the conference.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Intellias

Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is a core value at Intellias. In the spring of 2021, Intellias became the first Ukrainian IT company to sign the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), initiated by the UN Global Compact and UN Women. Since then, the company has consistently implemented them into daily and global processes, creating a comfortable environment for the career growth of female specialists. Women currently hold 43.81% of leadership positions at Intellias, compared to 35.16% in 2021. Intellias has also launched an IntelliWomen community, which has become a space of mutual support and development for more than 450 female specialists in the company.

It was delightful to be part of this movement and to share my stories. I was amazed by the diversity and richness of the topics and experiences of other participants… it’s the way to create global ecosystems that matter.
