Senior Local IT Operations Lead is a non-delivery, internal role responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations at the local office level. The role combines hands-on technical oversight, vendor coordination, and people management, acting as the key point of accountability for office IT infrastructure and local IT support services.
 
We are strengthening our internal IT function and are looking for a senior-level professional who can take ownership of local IT operations, ensure high service quality, and lead a team of on-site IT support engineers while collaborating closely with central IT and security teams.

What project we have for you

This is an internal, non-delivery role focused on supporting corporate offices and employees. The Local IT Operations Lead ensures uninterrupted operation of office IT infrastructure, workplace technologies, and physical security systems, while managing local vendors and aligning local activities with corporate IT and security standards.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain local office IT infrastructure, including networks, workplaces, meeting rooms, printers, and physical security systems
  • Ensure stable operation and continuous improvement of local IT services
  • Manage hardware inventory, asset lifecycle, and replacements
  • Lead and coordinate the local IT support team: task planning, assignment, backlog management, and daily operations
  • Act as the escalation point for complex local IT incidents and problems
  • Manage and coordinate local IT vendors and service providers
  • Monitor system health, incidents, and service performance using monitoring and ticketing tools
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT and security policies at the local level
  • Cooperate with central IT, security, and corporate services teams

What you need for this

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or workplace IT environments
  • Proven experience managing local IT infrastructure (networks, workplaces, printers, meeting rooms)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune
  • Experience with endpoint security and monitoring tools (Microsoft Defender, Zabbix)
  • Solid knowledge of hardware lifecycle and asset management processes
  • Experience working with ticketing and backlog management systems (Jira, ManageEngine)
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating IT support teams
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
    Will be a plus:
  • Experience with physical security systems (e.g., Ajax or similar alarm and monitoring systems)
  • Experience managing local IT vendors (ISP, security monitoring, hardware suppliers)
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and incident/problem management practices
  • Experience working in distributed or multi-office environments
