We are looking for a motivated, pro-active DevOps Engineer, working in a challenging and fast paced environment. You will be working in small cross-functional Agile teams responsible for the end-to-end development and component support using ‘You Build It, You Run It’ principle.E-commerce platform for one of the largest building merchants.
Our client is the UK’s largest supplier of building materials to the building and construction industry. Featuring a network of over 500 branches, supplying thousands of products and materials, including a tool hire service, to trade professionals and self-builders across the nation. With a wide range of quality timber, building materials, kitchens, plumbing and heating, landscaping, painting and decorating essentials and tools for the job – we do what matters for the trade.
• Set up Cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure using IaC approach
• Develop and support CI/CD
• Configure monitoring and logging
• Prompt response to any arising issues
• Analysis of failures, identifying and isolating the source of problems
• Automation of routine tasks
The candidate will be a part of the Infrastructure team and will be involved in all aspects of building and improvements of the Infrastructure Platform built on top of GCP. We are using agile and iterative development processes, and the company encourages collaboration and innovation.
