We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to drive the design and development of key components of the platform. You will play a critical role in shaping the engineering backbone, guiding development teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with modern cloud and AI-first practices.

What project we have for you

Our project is a strategic modernisation initiative for our client aimed at replacing a legacy SAP MII-based manufacturing performance analysis platform ahead of its end of support. The project focuses on building a scalable, cloud-native platform that enables efficient machine data ingestion, processing, and reporting across global manufacturing operations.

The solution will integrate with SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, and enterprise data platforms, providing unified operational visibility and supporting approximately 1,300 machines across multiple factories.

The delivery model will be based on cloud-native architecture and modular design and AI-first, spec-driven development practices.

What you will do

Design and develop modern React-based user interfaces and full-stack application features
Develop and maintain backend services using .NET
Collaborate with Product, Design and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences
Build and consume APIs supporting frontend and enterprise integrations
Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions across the platform
Drive engineering best practices in code quality, testing, security and CI/CD
Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, Business Analysts and Solution Architects
Participate in end-to-end delivery from feature discovery through implementation and release
Support integration with enterprise systems and external platforms
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering workflows and development practices

What you need for this

Must-have:

Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in building modern, scalable web applications
Proven experience designing and implementing responsive, user-centric frontend solutions
Good experience with modern frontend concepts, including:
- Component-driven architecture
- State management approaches
- Performance optimisation
- Testing and quality assurance practices
Solid experience with .NET (C#) backend development and REST API implementation
Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services and external APIs
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with OpenAPI specifications
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience building and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure
Experience with:
- Docker and containerised environments
- CI/CD pipelines
- Git-based workflows
Understanding of cloud-native application development and modern software engineering practices
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and spec-driven development approaches
Experience working within Agile delivery teams and collaborating across product, design, QA and engineering disciplines

Nice-to-have:

Experience with:
- Azure Container Apps
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure networking concepts
Experience with event-driven architectures:
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Event Hubs
Infrastructure as Code experience (Bicep or similar)
Knowledge of application security practices:
- Azure Key Vault
- Entra ID / OIDC
Experience with observability and monitoring solutions
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments and complex integration landscapes

Soft Skills:

Ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams
