What project we have for you
Our client is a $2.5B global B2B distributor building a new data platform from scratch on Google Cloud Platform. Core stack is BigQuery and Dataform, with a semantic layer in progress. The goal is to move ETL and transformation logic out of the legacy BI tool (Qlik) into GCP for better scalability and governance.
What you will do
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines on GCP, migrating transformation logic out of Qlik
- Contribute to the BigQuery data warehouse and Dataform transformations
- Support development of the semantic layer
What you need for this
- Fluent English and effective communication skills within cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with GCP, specifically BigQuery and Dataform
- Strong ETL pipeline design and development
- Experience building/contributing to a semantic layer
- Experience working in Agile methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
