What project we have for you
The client is a leading European provider of B2B solutions for mobility and fleet services.
The project is centered around e-Invoicing across the EU, addressing regulatory compliance (such as country-specific e-invoicing mandates), automation of billing flows, and integration with governmental and partner systems. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape scalable, compliant, and efficient invoicing solutions for multiple EU markets.
What you will do
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and specifications
- Support development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions
- Validate delivered functionality against requirements
- Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities
What you need for this
- You will have the opportunity to reflect customer needs by gathering business documents and technical requirements
- You will design holistic and integrated high-level solutions that fit customers’ business needs, production operability, and budget
- You will participate in and/or lead formal and informal reviews with stakeholders, applying knowledge and experience, and providing technical perspective and support
- You will be responsible for communicating the solution with customers’ business and IT personnel. Will be expected to explain the new details of new solutions and their impact on business processes
- You will prepare solution-related documents and specifications. Configure the solution, and creates, executes, and maintains accurate and detailed test plans for testing when applicable
- You will support the resolution of configuration/implementation-related issues if and when they arise
Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery projects
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of financial systems, billing, or invoicing processes
- Experience with system integrations and API-based solutions
- Knowledge of e-Invoicing standards and regulations in the EU (e.g., XRechnung/ZUGFeRD/EN 16931)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least JIRA & Confluence).
- Knowledge of prototyping tools (Figma, Miro).
- Strong English and Ukrainian
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Logistics, as well as Fleet and Transportation Management Systems
- Experience with payment platforms or fintech solutions
- Knowledge of European tax and compliance frameworks
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience working with international clients and multi-country projects
- German verbal and written communication skills.
