What project we have for you
The core of this engagement is breaking up a monolith into microservices, using Kafka as the data-streaming backbone, so we need someone who has done that kind of decomposition work hands-on, not just Kafka in isolation.
What you will do
• Guidance on topic design, payload/schema, retention, and consumption patterns
• Reviewing our current architecture and recommending improvements
• Helping resolve performance and data-retention issues
What you need for this
• C# / .NET background with deep distributed-systems understanding
• Proven experience decomposing a monolith into event-driven microservices with Kafka
• Strong Kafka expertise across Confluent and AWS MSK
• Solid grounding in event-driven and event-sourcing architectures
• Familiarity with Kafka Connect / Confluent connectors (plugins)
• Track record scaling Kafka at enterprise level
