We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist eager to build a predictive demand/maintenance solution for our client from scratch. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert in ETL and have experience similar projects.
What project we have for you
Our client is a leading manufacturer of hardware solutions for renewable energy generation who is willing to make a leap forward by employing cutting edge predictive demand and maintenance forecasts to optimize service time for their clients.
What you will do
- Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast equipment failures
- Analyze time-series and sensor data to detect anomalies and performance issues
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to translate maintenance needs into data-driven solutions
- Design feature engineering pipelines for condition monitoring and reliability analysis
- Evaluate model performance and continuously improve predictions using new operational data
- Support maintenance planning by providing actionable insights and failure risk assessments
- Build and maintain data dashboards and reports for asset health and system reliability
- Ensure data quality, validation, and documentation across predictive maintenance workflows
What you need for this
- 3+ years of experience applying data science or analytics to real-world business problems
- Strong experience with time-series forecasting and predictive modeling
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and regression techniques
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
- Experience working with large, messy operational datasets
- Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data
- Ability to communicate complex results clearly to non-technical stakeholders
