Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Experience and Marketing Transformation Manager to lead the global digital marketing strategy. This is a senior, high-impact role at the intersection of AI innovation, digital experience management, and marketing operations — reporting into the global marketing leadership team and collaborating with stakeholders across 90+ country markets.

What project we have for you

In this position, you will own the vision and roadmap for digital marketing capabilities, including the selection, integration, and scaling of platforms that power the company’s web presence, campaign personalization, and digital engagement worldwide. You will drive digital maturity across diverse markets, establishing frameworks, governance models, and best practices that translate marketing technology into valuable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on strategist with deep experience in digital product management and marketing technology ecosystems, with experience in AI/ML applications for marketing as a big plus. You thrive in complex, matrixed global organizations and bring a product management mindset to everything you do — balancing innovation with execution, and long-term vision with near-term results.

What you will do

  • Help define and execute the global AI marketing transformation roadmap, aligning AI initiatives with overarching business and marketing strategies across 90+ country markets.
  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered marketing tools and platforms — including personalization engines, predictive analytics, content generation, and audience segmentation solutions.
  • Own the strategic direction and product roadmap for core digital experience platforms (CMS, A/B testing, SEO, and landing page systems), ensuring scalability and adoption at a global level.
  • Drive digital maturity assessments across regional and country marketing teams, developing tailored upskilling programs and change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders — including IT, data science, brand, and regional marketing — to ensure AI solutions are technically sound, ethically deployed, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and launch scalable, templatized digital experiences (e.g., global landing page frameworks) that empower local teams while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures to measure the impact of AI-driven marketing initiatives on engagement, conversion, and revenue.
  • Manage vendor and technology partner relationships, including contract negotiation, SLA oversight, and roadmap alignment for key marketing technology platforms.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making, introducing rapid prototyping and iterative testing methodologies across the marketing organization.
  • Present strategic recommendations, progress updates, and ROI analyses to senior leadership and executive stakeholders on a regular cadence.

What you need for this

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, digital product management, or marketing technology roles within global or multinational organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading AI or advanced analytics initiatives in a marketing context, with hands-on experience deploying digital marketing tools at enterprise scale.
  • Strong product management mindset — experience owning roadmaps, defining requirements, and managing the full lifecycle of digital platforms (CMS, experimentation, SEO, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage multi-country digital transformations, including stakeholder alignment across diverse regions, cultures, and organizational structures.
  • Deep familiarity with modern marketing technology stacks, including platforms such as Drupal, VWO, SEMrush, Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable tools.
  • Experience with vendor management, including platform evaluation, procurement, contract negotiation, and ongoing partner governance.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives for executive audiences.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the agriculture, life sciences, FMCG, or industrial sectors with complex B2B and B2C marketing environments.
  • Background in entrepreneurship, startup founding, or intrapreneurship within a large enterprise — demonstrating comfort with ambiguity and zero-to-one thinking.
  • Teaching, mentoring, or thought leadership experience in digital transformation, AI, design thinking, or innovation management.
  • Proficiency in German or Spanish in addition to English.
  • Hands-on technical fluency with web technologies, APIs, and data pipelines — enough to engage credibly with engineering teams and evaluate technical feasibility.
