The engagement focuses on modernizing enterprise platforms and delivery capabilities through a large-scale cloud migration, bringing together multiple delivery partners within a complex governance structure.

What project we have for you

You will become part of the Governance Squad responsible for leading and coordinating a large-scale AWS cloud migration programme across multiple workstreams and delivery vendors. The programme spans several years and involves modernization of enterprise platforms, migration of business-critical applications, establishment of cloud landing zones, platform engineering capabilities, governance processes, and migration operating models.

Working closely with client leadership, cloud architects, engineering teams, AWS representatives, and partner organizations, you will help ensure alignment across technical and business streams, drive programme governance, manage delivery risks and dependencies, and support executive decision-making. The role combines programme governance, stakeholder management, delivery coordination, and operational excellence in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

What you will do

Programme Governance & Delivery

  • Coordinate governance activities across a large-scale enterprise AWS migration programme.
  • Drive programme execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between business priorities, architecture, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate governance forums including Steering Committees, Operational Committees, Scrum of Scrums, and programme planning sessions.
  • Own programme reporting, executive dashboards, RAID logs, decision logs, action tracking, and governance documentation.
  • Monitor programme health, delivery KPIs, milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations.
  • Coordinate planning across multiple vendors and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery against programme objectives.
  • Support implementation of delivery governance, Ways of Working, RACI, communication plans, and operating models.
  • Drive continuous improvement of programme governance processes and delivery practices.

Stakeholder & Account Management

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, delivery partners, and internal leadership.
  • Coordinate communication between client executives, engineering teams, architects, AWS representatives, and external partners.
  • Support Account Management by identifying delivery improvements and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to commercial discussions, programme planning, and future delivery phases.

Contract Management

  • Ensure delivery activities remain aligned with contractual commitments and programme scope.

Delivery Operations

  • Coordinate onboarding of new project teams.
  • Ensure governance processes are consistently followed across all delivery streams.
  • Track programme capacity, delivery progress, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
  • Support delivery planning, sprint governance, backlog prioritization, and milestone tracking where required.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation actions with appropriate stakeholders.

Talent & Team Management

  • Support staffing activities together with recruitment and resource management teams.
  • Ensure effective onboarding of new team members into the programme.
  • Mentor delivery managers and governance specialists where required.
  • Contribute to performance management, employee development, motivation, and retention.
  • Support resource transitions and knowledge transfer activities to ensure delivery continuity.

What you need for this

  • 6+ years of experience in consulting or outsourcing delivery/program management.
  • 4+ years of Project or Programme Management experience within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing organizations or delivery units of 35+ people.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale technology transformation initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating multiple vendors, distributed engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in staffing, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk, issue, dependency and change management.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and enterprise delivery governance.
  • Experience establishing programme governance processes, reporting cadence, RAID management, executive steering committees, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of delivery metrics, KPIs, financial tracking, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams as well as senior business and technology leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and planning skills.

Will be a plus:
