What project we have for you
The Client is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. A Fortune 500 company and member of the S&P 500 Index, was founded in 1984 and employs approximately 14,900 coworkers. For the trailing twelve months ended June 30, 2023, generated Net sales of approximately $22 billion.
The project’s team is working on migrating existing Peoplesoft Financials and IBMi Financials platforms to Workday Platforms. We’re seeking a Workday QA to support new integration requirements and testing.
What you will do
- Collaborate / Coordinate / Drive the test plans test performing for Workday financial integration solutions
- Document and maintain artifacts around testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting and IT teams to plan and execute against new Workday related initiatives or enhancements
- Engage with third party vendors as needed on planned integrations or to support and maintain existing integrations
What you need for this
Required skills:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
- Experience with various Workday Integration testing
- Thorough understanding of different testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies, being able to choose the most appropriate approach for a given project
- Knowledge of test end-to-end automation specifics
- Coding proficiency in Java
- Deep understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns, hands-on experience applying them to test frameworks
- Expert-level experience in development of Automation Frameworks
- Experience with test automation tools and libraries for API test automation, such as RestAssured or similar
- Experience in using test runners (TestNG, JUnit4/5)
- Strong experience in setting up and configuring test monitoring and reporting tools for complex systems
- Ability to get things done
- ability to work solo without active guidance from lead and detailed feature description.
- Shifted hours 10 AM- 7 PM or 9 AM-6 PM. Central time overlap required: ~2-4 hours per day.
Will be a plus:
- Financial experience is a plus
- Experience in Agile SAFe Framework
