We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team and help us build smarter, more efficient procurement across indirect categories, with a strong focus on IT hardware and software. What project we have for you
We are looking for a colleague to manage sourcing and procurement across a broad range of indirect categories, with a focus on IT HW & SW, driving value, compliance, and supplier performance.
What you will do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
- Analyse pricing, cost structures, and terms to identify savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business units to identify IT software stocks, as well as actual and forecasted demand.
- Optimize and ensure efficiency of the SW sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate favourable contracts and agreements.
- Ensure timely delivery and compliance with agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with project requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes in a timely manner.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain and vendor-related risks.
- Address any ethical and sustainability considerations in procurement decision.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, including terms and conditions, service level agreements, and legal compliance.
- Proactively handle purchasing activities ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with agreements.
- Ensure trustful and sustainable relationships with key suppliers
- Utilize data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in procurement.
What you need for this
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in IT software and hardware procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and demand management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favourable terms and agreements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in Ukrainian and in English
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Adaptability and versatility in handling a wide range of procurement categories.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and relevant laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with compliance and ethical considerations in procurement.
