Join a mission-driven technology team that’s redefining what’s possible in cardiac care. We’re developing an advanced medical system designed to help physicians diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias with precision and confidence. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an innovative platform at the intersection of real-time software, visualization, and life-saving technology.

You’ll work within a collaborative engineering environment where creativity and technical excellence drive meaningful patient impact.

What project we have for you

The Global Salesforce Commercial Platforms IT team is a globally distributed group delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that enable commercial excellence across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Partnering with business units and enterprise functions, we support the full delivery lifecycle—from intake and solution architecture through deployment, governance, and continuous improvement—through agile execution, cross-functional collaboration, and human-centered design.

As a Principal IT Salesforce Technical Architect within this team, you will serve as a strategic architecture leader for Salesforce capabilities supporting end-to-end Pricing & Contracting, including CPQ, pricing management, and contract workflows. Partnering with Commercial and IT stakeholders, you will define and govern scalable target architecture, standards, and patterns across data, integration, security, and automation—modernizing operations while minimizing technical debt. You will provide principal-level architecture leadership for complex, high-risk U.S.-based transformation initiatives by accelerating key decisions, reducing delivery risk, and ensuring solutions are globally scalable.

You will be reporting to the Global Salesforce Commercial Platforms IT Director and are expected to work from the office.

What you will do

  • Run discovery; translate business requirements into designs.
  • Lead design sessions and workshops; deliver scalable solutions.
  • Estimate LOE; assess feasibility, benefits, and risks.
  • Own solution design and configuration; deliver and enable teams.
  • Support SIT and UAT while managing risks to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership and architecture guidance; advise on Salesforce capabilities.
  • Define, diagram, and document end-to-end solution architecture, including the roles and interactions of people, process, and technology components.
  • Drive architecture governance and portfolio lifecycle decisions (select, adopt, enhance, and retire capabilities) to reduce technical debt and improve scalability.
  • Support admins and developers; coach and mentor team members.
  • Build and govern architecture standards and patterns; evaluate new Salesforce products.
  • Enhance and expand Salesforce implementations.

What you need for this

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (configuration and/or development) with at least 2+ years in a technical lead or architecture role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead, solution architecture, or technical architecture role on enterprise implementations.
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge, including Agentforce/AI capabilities and Salesforce Data Cloud activation use cases.
  • Experience with Pricing & Contracting technologies (e.g., Conga, Salesforce Revenue Cloud).
  • Salesforce integration experience with business systems using APIs and iPaaS/tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, webMethods, Kafka).
  • Experience in customer-facing delivery roles (architect, solution engineer, consultant, or developer) and leading enterprise Salesforce programs through full lifecycle delivery (waterfall/agile).
  • Ability to document solution architecture, communicate effectively, and provide forward-looking recommendations in fast-changing environments.
  • Experience with data management/analytics, environment & release management (version control and deployments), and leading distributed/offshore delivery resources.
  • Experience with Salesforce single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations.
  • Active Salesforce certifications (or ability to achieve upon hire).
