We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the roadmap for a healthcare interoperability and connected health network platform.

This role combines deep knowledge of FHIR/HL7, healthcare interoperability, payer/provider data, and regulatory requirements with strong product strategy and execution. You will translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities and measurable busines

What project we have for you

The platform connects healthcare data across EHRs, providers, payers, and other health data sources using FHIR-based interoperability standards and APIs.

The role owns product strategy for interoperability and network capabilities, including patient and provider access APIs, payer-to-payer exchange, provider directories, and regulatory initiatives such as CMS interoperability requirements and TEFCA.

Success is measured through data-driven KPIs including API adoption, connected data sources, data completeness, network growth, latency, and customer value.

What you will do

  • Own the product roadmap for FHIR-based interoperability and healthcare network capabilities.
  • Translate CMS regulations, FHIR standards, and customer requirements into clear product specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Define and track KPIs for API adoption, network growth, data completeness, latency, and connectivity.
  • Analyze product usage, interoperability performance, and market trends to prioritize roadmap investments.
  • Own PRDs, scope, stakeholder alignment, and engineering readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering on FHIR platform capabilities and with Legal/Compliance on regulatory requirements.
  • Map patient, provider, and payer workflows to identify product and UX improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness across Product, Engineering, Client Success, Reporting, and Commercial teams.
  • Define customer value metrics and measure the impact of interoperability capabilities.
  • Maintain quarterly roadmap alignment across teams and priorities.

What you need for this

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience, including end-to-end delivery of healthcare interoperability or FHIR-based products.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in technology product management.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of FHIR R4, US Core, HL7, and Da Vinci implementation guides.
  • Strong understanding of CMS interoperability requirements, including Patient Access APIs, payer/provider exchange, and TEFCA.
  • Working knowledge of payer and provider data, including EHR/EMR data, claims, clinical coding, provider directories, and network data.
  • Experience translating regulatory and interoperability requirements into PRDs, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps.
  • Strong experience defining and tracking KPIs/OKRs and using analytics to drive product decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Data, Compliance, Legal, and business teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare security and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and HITECH.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CMS-0057-F or similar CMS interoperability initiatives.
  • Experience with FHIR API platforms, provider directories, payer-to-payer exchange, or healthcare networks.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability organizations and standards such as ONC, CMS, and TEFCA.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative product research.
  • Experience building analytics dashboards and defining interoperability/network performance metrics.
